Title: Spirit of SoG
Post by: Alaha on November 17, 2006, 11:34:01 PM
Hi guys
i recently noticed that ppl no longer intrested in anything else than Molten Core, and everything under that instance is just a waste of time.
For 2-3 monthes ago we used to have some fun at outdoor dragons and stuffs like that, but not anymore
We used to kill 4-5 outdoor dragons in like 2-3 hours in weekends.
Wakeup SoG's lets have some fun again guys.

well, i know what is going on for myself personaly. but im sure more people feel the same in one way or an other.

i am kind of "done" with molten core , ZG , AQ20 and outdoor bosses i dont have to join for the loot, but even worst i dont have to join for fun.
i have done it so many times it becomes routine. if it was not for the big patch and expansion comming up soon i would surely have to consider a break or a leave even

and i do not play for routine, i play for fun. so i started an alt to play, or i play other games like neverwinternights 2 or counter strike source
so if people pass on a outdoor dragon, or do not sign up cut them some slack they might just be tired of that part of wow

Alaha I think you'll find there is still alot of other instance runs on, not least because everyone will need to be Naxx attuned eventually and Exhalted with AD is the easiest (and cheapest) way to do it.  I certainly end up on a number of 'sub-MC' runs each week as I suspect do a lot of others.

Mate, it have been like 18 month im playing this game with diffrent characters, still haven't seen the end of BWL.
1 time i was luckey ( when i was soldier ) and i got invited to BWL with RG1 and saw half of that instance, and once been invited to AQ-40 and saw princess Huhu..something. I really love to discover new things in the game not only for the loot but for the fun of it.
There is still mutch for many of us :)

Alaha,

same applies here... would love to see end game content but you need a solid group for that.

And we will see end game content as TBC will give new challenges...

for vetran raiders in RG1 we seen everything but naxx and some AQ bosses, i think i am up to 100 runs in every instance sub MC, 350+ hours MC, 200+ hours BWL, 80+ hours AQ40, and several 100 hours of AQ20/ZG, After you done all that, you just lose intrest, i have a warlock and a druid that i just cant be botherd to gear up anymore. Nothing against anyone, but all the bosses i could do blindfolded almost :narnar:

what bastet says is very true...

gearing up 1 char is a really big block of time, depends on your luck...
