Just to make everyone aware of the Field Marshalls' goal for SOG RG1 on Thursday.
- BWL Speed Run - a full clearance in under 2 hours.
- AQ40 clearance of Skeram, Sartura, Fankriss, Huhuran & Twin Emperors
All of this is to be done on Thursday night.
Now this is a HUGE target to clear and it will require us all to pot up and start on time, to not wipe at all and to make each kill real smooth (just like we can do). So let's be there EARLY on Thursday to get it underway at 19.15 on the dot.
If we achieve our goal then we get two full nights to work at C'Thun's trash (an hour's worth) and then C'Thun until the reset. Given the progress we made in actually getting C'Thun to Phase 2 last night the possibilities are excellent if we spend the time (and gold) on potting up and trying him for 2 consecutive nights.
Nefarian Buff will be handed out in Stormwind at 19:00 on Thursday night, so be there early for the buff and then move to BWL entrance.If you need flasks made then organise a clearance through to the lab in Scholomance, have the mats in yoru bags and then invite one of the Guild Alchemists (summon them ideally) to make the Flasks ready for Thursday. Several people can make the flasks, just ask.

think ill get a flask of titans made up for aq, dps is all very good but i have less hp than a cockroach :$
I'm gonna aim at similar pottage to mc speed run, but reduced in numbers I think.
that god is gonna get a splat in the eyeball then have his stomach filled with something nasty
w me if you need a pot made, Umbra and everyone else.
As most problems in RL, most problems in wow can also be sorted by trowling large amounts of cash in the right directions or hard work in proper places

Just some thanks to RG1 members for the effort put into the raid last night. We beat our target for BWL and cleared the whole instance in 1hr 49 mins. Unfortunately we fell a little short of our goal to clear the Twins, mainly because we took longer than planned to start at both BWL and AQ. However we still managed to clear the first 4 bosses in AQ40 and Twin Emperors is the next boss when we return on Sunday.
Personally I think RG1 deserves a huge amount of respect for what they achieved last night. yes we said the goal was the Twin Emperors, but what we managed to do in a single evening (clear BWL & all bosses through to Twins in AQ40) was simply awesome.
To give you a comparison:
Danu Nephilimer started their raid week with an attack on AQ40 last night. They start at about the same time as we do.
In the time it took them to clear Skeram, Sartura, Fankriss & Huhuran we had cleared the whole of BWL and Skeram, Sartura, Fankriss & Huhuran too.
I was told that when some Danu members found this out they had a 'jaw dropping' moment :roflmao:
The reward for your efforts is 2 full nights on C'Thun (we will kill Twins quickly). The C'Thun work is a progress raid, so let's get a supply of pots/oils/sharpening stones etc ready and crack some (C'Thun) head on Sunday!
SOG has been known as one of the best Guilds on the server for some time, but it's great to see that we are now becoming known as a premiere RAIDING guild. :clap:

Hint for C'Thun:

It's cheap enough and easy enough to make and should give enough NR during C'Thun fight to allow you to pop several pots per fight if needed. Much cheaper than the Greater NR pot and this should allow us all to come along with 20 of our own maybe? Shoudl speed things up between attempts if we don;t have to hand out supplies!
