no idea where that grenade came from at the beginning that blunt picked up somehow, but they were terrible. in the console I see 3 restarts, or well, at least 1 or 2. In fact in my console the team choice they make comes in the middle of what I presume are the game restarts (don't recall seeing them happen though - probably trying to work out where the grenade came from)
bad admining basically, I'd be tempted to get it annulled due to their poor admining and refusal to start properly / or at least check with us first that we knew they were going CT etc.
I think that they took/assumed default after the grenade and just started the match? condump follows...

From the log you posted, either DuVel or Blunt bought the grenade, in which case they were within their rights to claim the knife round and start.
I did not like the manner in which they started the match as they hit the live restart sequence before anyone knew what had happened and would not restart when asked. I explained this to the admin on IRC after the match. I am currently waiting for the demo to finish downloading.
Whatever happens please don't leave a match because your not happy, my job is hard enough without chasing people who leave a match.
It's not good when things like this happen but it's not the end of the world, it's just a game. :)
as I said at the time, you have to play the hand you're dealt....sh*t happens...stiff upper lip...grin & bear it...etc.

as far as the knife round is concerned, I attacked a ct with my knife, and the next thing I know I'm throwing a nade:blink:

I really wasn't that bothered, coz 99% of the reports I've seen, says we've lost the knife round...it's a proud tradition:lmfao:
however, what happened next was a mystery....they were very uncommunicative...and lots of confusion ensued..

The worst thing they did was to start immediately after the knife round. They didn't ask if we were ready at all, they just said "stay" once, which could easily have meant stay in your spawn given the grenade, and then hit restart. They never actually claimed the knife round at all!! After that we were a mess :sad:
During the game they must have been chucking flashbangs into the skybox or something, especially down longA as you never saw the grenades coming through the door, but just got flashed. I thought that was illegal? Or is that only in old cs?

They chucked them over the doors from the Tspawnside.
I coverd long A as CT and got flashed 3-5 times almost every round. I got a few of them if they went long A by holding back a bit and time my flashes when I thought one should be around. After the 2nd or 3rd usually pick me off...
Not sure if it's allowed, need to check at ED...
