Mazii will whisper me when he has completed his exit from Equanimity.  This is expected to be a day or so.

Chimpboy (Jahred) has been PM'd on these forums advising of his acceptance and will whisper for an invite once he has completed the server transfer to Aszune.

*coughs*

Check the Recruitment section - applicants to both RG1 and RG2 cannot just be invited by RG2.  They might be offered both and we need to agree the proposal before any action is taken.  Please speak with Siffredi and he can explain the process and procedures otherwise we'll get in one hell of a mess real fast.  None of the forum admin has been done for this application yet, let alone finding out if RG1 were going to accept him.  Where both RG1 & RG2 are listed we have to work together.

Still no comments from any FMs about this druid under recruitment... howlong responce time should we expect before we go further and invite a such a player if no comments?

DA I am not saying that, otherwise we'd say screw you and give them RG1 status even after your invite to RG2.  But that would be childish, so we'll not do it.  All I'm saying is we need to talk before acting, I am trying to be constructive here not start a ****ing competition.

Siff, you need to give it some time and yes we need to maybe set a time limit, but 24 hours is not enough.

We're talking system/procedure here not specifics Sazgul.  Get it wrong and we'll come a cropper.

Im sorry TL but you know we have had some really crap luck with Druids and we hardly ever get people applying for Defender rank. His gear is not even up to stratch for rg2 but we need them more.

Looking through the invites you have done you have had many this week, i have already invited moonwind into SOG.

It seems there is only a communication problem when you guys dont get what you want and it seems we are going back to the old ways.

I really was ****ing ****ed off the night you took our Priest that we had already contacted but hey ive let that go now. But i will not be pushed around and told what i can and cannot do. If you feel so strongly about this, find another RG2 Raid Leader because i will not take it!

/sigh, let's all take this slowly:

Hardly ever get druid defender applicants?  Since the current system was updated 6 of the last 12 druids accepted were Defenders, 4 were Guardians, 2 were soldiers.  Additionally 4 of the last 8 druids  declined were Defender applicants, 2 were Guardian, 2 were Soldiers, so I guess that actually RG1 gets fewer applicants than RG2, but this is irrelevant.

It's a fair point about the priest Leesa, yes we should have posted in the recruitment section, but the application was prompted by my Guildybankee whisper to random dwarf priests two days before.  There was no mention of any SOG contact with her at that stage and we were not aware that 3 days later (and after her SOG app had been submitted) that she would be invited to an RG2 raid as a PUG (possibly even as a trial for her application?).  This is not an excuse, but in your words the other day you said 'RG2 are overflowing' with dwarf priests, RG1 on the other hand were exceptionally short (pun intended) of dorfs and priests at that stage and still are as we are likely to fail one one of the triallists.   If we got it wrong then we apologise and for such applications in future we will post in the Recruitment topic for clarity.

We need to work to a system.  Yes if someone gets accepted by RG1 then they are hardly likely to turn it down for RG2 when they have applied for RG1.  RG1 & RG2 are different and there is no point pretending they are the same, but we should try to work to the same system.  We're trying to make things as fair as we can and yes we'll make some mistakes along the way but that doesn't mean that we should circumvent the rules and then claim 'it's ok, it's 1-1 now'.

If it's descends into a case of 'I have already invited this person, you're too late' then it becomes pointless - and please be aware that we're not heading back to 'old ways': you have additional in-game Guild powers, forum moderator rights to allow you to do some of your own RG2 admin and the mere fact that you are able to see the whole War Room now should be sufficient evidence that we are trying to work *with you* not *against you*.

My post is not about this particular druid, it's about not using the system.  The system is there to ensure that both Ms & FMs talk to each other and that applications are dealt with fairly.  Yes we might need reminding every now and then because we're trying to work a new way, but please don't try to 'get even' if we err, otherwise it descends into farce.
