ive got an interview on monday!!! w00t!!
its for a company selling computer supplys and xerox machiens etc.
dammit just after i lost all my hair last weekend.
i had to go out an buy my 1st ever suit today! i managed to get the full works, suit jacket, suit trousers, shoes, 3 shirtsa and 2 ties all for under £100!!! w1nn4r!!!
suit jacket and trousers £45 from the officers club
shoes £24 from the officers club
1 shirt £3.99 from b|wise
2 shirts @ £3 each from charity shop! [and one has magnetic buttons]
2 ties @ £3 each from charity shop! [one has sheep on it!!!!! :D, and thats the one im wearing to the interview]

I carry out interviews at my work so here is some free advice:
1. Do some research about the company you are being interviewed by. I get really pissed when people do not even visit the website to find out the basics about us - they do not get the job!
2. Find out as much as you can about the role on offer and what they expect from you. That will allow you to ask some pertinent questions to show that you have bothered to dig into things.
3. Be honest - if you do not know then say so. the person interviewing you is on a tight timescale usually so don't waste his time or yours.
4. Relax! The guy doing the interview is probably as nervous as you :-)
5. Smile! We don't employ miserable people.

I take it you mean this coming Monday Sheepy?...........what time is your interview because if it is later in the day phone the Company early, get the name and phone number of one of the reps already working there asnd ask them about the job (good and bad)......
Like BB I also interview and nothing impresses more than the man who has inside knowledge ahead of an interview.....particularly if it is information specific to the job you are applying for!!

Just to back up the find out about the company bit, in the interview I had last tuesday, the chap was most impressed that i had bothered to look at their website and could tell him infomation off it.

Just heard today that i didn't get the job. And it was a petty reason they gave as well so probably just as well. Have more options open and will let you know what happens
So going to the interview naked but for a nappy and covered from head to toe in 3 in 1 oil wasn't such a good plan :(

2 fecking right it can b well paid. the blokey at the recruitment company thinks that im suitable and is aranging an interview with the MD of the company, he must have been impressed as he asked if i would b intrested in going to work for him at the recruitment company!!! 8O
just got a phone call from the guy at the recruitment company and he said that i have an interview at 9:30 tomorrow morning! bloody hell! and i just looked it up on multimap webby and its right next to a pub! this job is just getting better and better! lets hope i get it!
