You're opening a big can of worms there. A never ending supply of the same skins with different details! :learn: I've been there and done that. Only for peeps to say 'I want mine in yellow/green/sh1tty brown', or other folks not wanting to use it at all and show off they're own artistic skills (now't wrong with that)
What would be nice is a place where high res, 1024x1024, skins of our own members could be downloaded. Then we wouldn't have to look at muddy old 512s.
I've no issue with team skins. It'd mean we'd need to assign race numbers. And leave a little space on each skin for "personal sponsors".

If this is a plan, are we going to decide colours and/or themes? I personally prefer more real-life based styles, after watching a load of touring cars, etc in the past.
Is there a deadmen colour scheme, or time for a democratic selection policy? National colours are difficult due to our pan-European clientele, so I could be selfish and propose yellow and blue, as in the European Flag? Actually, you could have a dMr style, allowing for a personal colour choice?
I don't think Oldie was trying to start a team skin thingy, he simply said it was his 'branded' attempt. I'm not really in favour of team skins as we're not really a 'team' are we?

Since this is a site started by games other than racing (if I am not mistaken) how about some of the monsters, dead men, armour that abound in the other games played online? Maybe something like a "World of Warcraft" chariot style, just look at the banner at the top of this page, right hand side, to get my idea. They should be brownish-redish with silvery white writing, the writing not very "technological" (see what I mean?)
