Title: Tealeaf & SoG
Post by: Bastet on January 08, 2007, 07:20:43 PM
After a rather lenghty dicussion on MSN we decided that at least for the moment TL will help SOG out by continueing to run several aspects of the guild.

Most notably this will be forum changes and access and the running of the guild tradebank account (beeing the AH adict the lad is)

Phew TL... seeing you step down, thats like SoG getting their heart ripped out... I must say im feeling very unsure about SoG atm...

I dont know what to think - There's this small feeling that; "Maybe we'd better close the guild down" - Heck Anything did it, Right too.. Perhaps it's time for a new era.

Is it?, what do you think? - Sorry for sounding a bit down, but the nails just keeps comming..

TL: Thank you for all you did for SoG, wish you the best of luck, hope to still see you around on Aszune.

Well i reckon alot of ppl like to fight for SoG survival in TBC so why not take SoG in to TBC with some confidece and fun instead of sounding negative.
Close down SoG will not solve anything in the future-and i quess Bastet wouldnt signed up for the GM spot, if he had known what should come after a few weeks after he took the spot as our GM
Get over it and we could atleast give it a fair shoot and do a mutual effort and take SoG to the next lvl in TBC.
So if all help out and we can do it with SoG instead of some leaving the guild and go their own way.-the end Wierd

Gonne try for a fair shot aye, but atm the outcome doesnt look to favorable. still, if you want to help, stroll over to planning, and lets give it out best (input and ideas welcome)

Maybe I'm a romantic but I think what we have here is the Phoenix Syndrome - you know, arising from the ashes and all that. What is life without a challenge?

As Kennedy put it:

We chose to do those things not because they are easy but because they are difficult.

There is an opportunity here for a clean, new start to do things the way you as the community want to do it.

Carpe Diem (Sieze the Day)

Live long and prosper (poor quote but it's the best that springs to mind)

Dont understand me wrong here.
Yes TL has done ALOT for this guild, but TL isent the heart of the guild.
The heart is the core of the cooperation between officers, FM's.

Yes TL was a part of it and decided to leave.
Good luck to him. Gratefull what he has done.

But now its our turn to show what we are capable of, this is a new era for SoG.

- Sora, genesis and whatever ppl are gonna make, let them be the "best" on the realm but 1 thing i can asure you of is NO ONE of them will ever reach SoG in being the most friendly, helpfull and SOCIAL guild og the realm. Thats a thing we are well known of, and nothing is gonna stop us in contienuing being that in TBC, no matter who leaves SoG, SoG will stay SoG.

now heads up and get into the fight. :boxing:
there is loads of work leing infront of us that needs to be done.

-New RG's
-New TC's
-problems that needs to be solved
etc.

Yrthal.

Hello guys,

wouldn't it be handy to come up with a to do list?

That way we can see what problems/things we need to arange etc.....

Like Yrthal said above this post:

RG's
TBC and now?
Days of raiding and which days?
Rules for the raid groups?

etc....

Imagine that those who signup for RG1 they should be level 70 at least by the time we hit the 25man raids incl. attunements etc....

There is still not much known about the TBC and therefor not easy to plan. Maybe we should bring that out to the people instead of not letting them know anything. When people don't hear anything from the marshalls or field marshalls they might as well think not is coming, and therefor they a decision could be made that doesn't benefits us.....

Let's fight and be proud, yes people do leave, and yes it's not simpel to arrange this all, but it is NOT IMPOSSIBLE!
