First thing I saw on the site was the picture and straight away the 'tron-guy' came to mind :lmfao:
Souds nice though.. $2000? Im considering getting one.. I mean.. wow
According to himself it should be working, so I don't see what should hold the american army back.. If the danish army got some of those, Id sign up just to try and wear one :g:

Considering that it protects the soldier that well, i would say buy 2 for every soldier! This could really bring back the amounth of casualties. (i'm not for war, but those who are allready in it should be protected by all costs right?)

For $2K, surely they'd be worth investigating. Then produced by another manufacturer, sold for 6 times that because the CEO's mate is a senator and the difference in price absorbed into some Cayman Isles bank account.

Or am I cynical?

So what happens when both sides get these suits?
Bigger and better weapons to penetrate the suits, more use of bombs :g:
or do you just shoot at each other until you run out of bullets :flirty:

that suit could really use some motorisation. 18kg isn't terribly light is it? How much does "regular" flak-jacket/helmet/etc weigh?
Quote from: Whitey;173208So Cybernetics takes over? Battle droids? ASIMO with a gun and an attitude?:boxing: Then someone will break out those 5 mechanical lions that inter-connect to form a humaniod robot that can create all-destroying weapons out of thin air...

The lightest body armour system at the moment is 16.4 pounds so 7ish kilos. Though that only protects the torso/core of the body...

They'll always make bigger, better and more bad ass weapons and bombs.

Maybe they should have sticked to no body armor and a few sticks, that way they can do dmg to eachother without taking so much civilians with em :sideways:

I agree. But if you speculate...

So the cold war would have been a massive stock of sticks - and Vietnam got carpet-bombed with tons of sticks... hehe.
