Omg!!!
Looks nice, any idea on the specs required?
2x GeFrorce 8800 GTXs in SLi, a quad-core CPU, 2gigs of RAM, minimum
:narnar:
Oh, and a personal thermonuclear power station to power the above.
hmm.. a thermonuclear power station? I reckon this (http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=7584) PSU mentioned in the Hardware section could do it then :flirty:

I'll need to check it then...

lmao :roflmao:. Seriously though this is rather worrying. EA is probably the worst thing that could happen to Crysis as its reputation for a little game called bf2 hasn't had an excellent track record:sideways:. Oh Ubisoft where art thou :eyebrow:.
i haven't read what the games about but i'm assuming the player is pumped up on steroids or something? i mean the jumping was retarded and the gun butt to the head sent the guy flying. Made it a bit naff in my opinion, pretty looking but naff.
You have various attributes which you can enable/disable. When you allocate resources to strength you lose speed etc so basically you have limited resources to allocate to your attributes and you have to choose how to allocate them for any given moment.
Yeah, it's near futuristic, and the powers come from a nanosuit you're wearing. It has a limited amount of power, which can be allocated amongst certain skills - strength, speed etc etc. You can either be a jack of all trades, or master of one, and reallocate as necessary to fit the situation.
Another crysis trailer this time in HD and showing dx10 footage.

Ooooh, yumeee :)
First tryed to see it at work but it's rather slow. Now at home and still pretty slow to see the movie...
Nice movie though, the guy can hit really hard...he can make a car turn over and hit a guy over a barn.
For the rest, the graphics looked allright! :flirty:
Man... those graphics... Me wanna...
Still pending the creation of a computer good enough to run it :narnar: its gonne be like farcry, if you want it at best, buy the best there is at that time.

If you have some money to spend :flirty:
Is there a release date on this yet? I remember seeing a trailer for this early last year :g:
If memory serves me correctly, at the time this was intended to be released in the 4th Quarter of 06, so it must be close, right ??
(this was on my xmas list :( )
Cant wait :dribble:

Heavy specs, looks like ill need a new GPU and a bar of RAM before i can run that game
Awell at least i dont have to buy a whole new computer like id thought
- Crysis will run on both DX9 & DX10 as well as Windows XP and Windows Vista.
- A graphics card that supports Shader Model 2 or higher is required.
- CryEngine2 is estimated to scale back 2 years, and scale ahead 1.5 years.
- A single 7800GTX will run the game quite well on fairly high settings according to Crysis Art Director, Michael Khaimzon.
- Jack Mamais of Crytek said in an exclusive Crysis-Online interview that his X1900XT runs the game very well at reasonably high settings ( still unoptmized ).
- Crysis will dynamically utilize all processing threads available. Meaning quad-core processors will be supported.
Hmm now i want a quad anyways ;)
Think ill get my graphics cards upgraded before it launches to get on the DX10 wagon :D (eventho that will require upgrading to vista sadly)
Grrr, will have to try if my comp can run it....
Got to try that link of KKND.
yeah downloading it now, 3 min download /sigh...
Am pondering an upgrade for this myself. I'm waiting till AMD release their quad cores though, as I want to see how they stack up against Intel's in terms of cost and performance.
yeah, interested to see how much a Quad benefits from true 4 core compared to intels current 2x2 quads
