Looks like a good way to get mail blockage. How the hell are you going to download a 10Gb file!
PS My mail server would reject it :)
Yup, bloody attachments. Email is for PLAIN TEXT MESSAGES ONLY! grr. If you want to send files, use FTP!

I see what you mean BB but its a good idea in practice though. For some files that just go over the 10mb file limit it is very useful. I know 10mb is considered the maximum by most providers but generally some files do go slightly over this in fairness. This will cause alot of network congestion aswell i would expect but hats off to the company who designed it.
It doesn't send the files through your mail servers. But I imagine it would still massacre your networks bandwidth if everyone was emailing links to 1/10gig files.
QuoteYou don’t need another e-mail address. You don’t have to use complicated solutions such as FTP. The SendYourFiles software integrates seamlessly with Outlook and Outlook Express. And if you want to, you can use our easy web interface to send your large files.
It appears to be a different interface to let you upload/download files and share them via email. The plugin software seems to download the files without ging through the mail servers.
Well, sometimes if we want to send something for work we're over 10MB so I might be going to check it out.
I use a similar - but free - service called yousendit

Not as big, but you can register free and send up to 100mb files. Works well for sending out press photos and contact sheets and also large presentations.
