My latency on Boomer is ridiculously high and makes the game unplayable.
Sometimes >300.
But for Meathook it's fine, <50.
How is this possible when it's the same IP address?
Weird. The physical server is running:
3 instances of CSS on 87.240.138.21 - NIC1
2 instances of BF2 on 87.240.138.22 - NIC2
1 FTP server on 87.240.138.23 - NIC3
CPU utilisation is 13%
Is it other players with poor pings on Boomer that are pulling you down?
I seem to lag alot when hpb's are about:ranting2:
I just have a little lag, not worth mentioning but last Friday a few people had lots of lag, if they could report back here...
I normally don't join Boomer if the latency is high in my Steam Favourites.
However last night I decided to, even though it said latency was 2000.
Once I joined everything was normal; no lag, good pings, I played blindfolded (or so it seemed).
Then once I exeited the game, Steam Favs still said latency was 2000 on Boomer but <50 on MH.

it's our little way of trying to discourage you but we'll obviously have to try harder :narnar:
Or to put it another way: blame steam ;)

Well... I seem to have some serious lag spikes sometimes... Dont know what causes it either.. Rates 25000 101 101. Linksys wireless card but nothing seems to help... Good connection to the net aswell.. Any tips?
I was getting some weird lag jolts on there last night too :(.
