We won the knife round and decided to go CT. It was obvious from the very first round that strange kills were on the table. Flashes and smoke didn't really stop them from killing you. I think that out of my total 23 deaths more than half were by people jumping or being mid air when killing me. Once they accumulated enough money there were at least 2 AWPs and going close combat with them ended up with HS from 2 feet away.
Second half as T we got more teamplay together and we used TS better. We had a 7-0 lead when they started with 3 AWPs in their team and soon we had no chance stopping them. Even with rushes, smokes and flashes we couldn't shake them.

I realise now that we left at 13 rounds and not 15. I left when they started saying "gg" as I thought the match was over (didn't even check the score tbh).

What we should bring from this match is our first 7 rounds as T. They were absolutely brilliant. Quick rushes. Good backup and great teamplay.
We are getting there.

Indeed, and cheers for making some good calls on where to go, as T.

btw, I also found it somewhat strange to face a flashed opponent who HS running me, but well...

Weird shots as you've typed yeah, especially the ones from 2feet away with an AWP/AWM.
Must say that with comms it plays alot better for me (warning people and such).
I still think we need to sort some 5 vs 5 matches as in -=[dMw]=- vs -=[dMw]=-. As we have quit alot of new people to the matchscene of -=[dMw]=- , what might be a normal tactic or call for a more "older" -=[dMw]=-'ers might cause confusion with "newer" matchplayers.

Also I've noticed some "publicserver-tactics" which don't help in a match. When moving from one bombspot to another, team up. This works better as you can back eachother up...

For the rest, it was a nice game, must say that I had fun again and hope to shoot some more soon again in a match...although Whitey was a bit quiet...:flirty: ...Glad you joined m8...

Sorry I couldn't say much, but talking was hurting my throat and as my asthma has flared up as well it was easier to keep quiet :flirty:

I did enjoy the match though, even with the bunny hopping mid air headshots

It was strange you couldn't get connected Blunt, next time!

I had a similar thought the other day.
Basically, we need more than 1 Xmas tourney a year. We have fun, we practice, and we all get to meet each other. All we need is to declare a certain Friday/otherday as such.
I also thought that maybe we can arrange for mixed groups with other friendly clans, for something similar to the BoDyBlow tourney we had some years ago. This way we can also get ideas for out matches. I can try and suggest this for some friendly foes if you think it is a good idea.  :sideways:
