Post by: Anonymous on January 25, 2007, 10:21:17 PM
Was on Boomer tonight a couple of times, banned 4, kicked 3 and lost count of how many I warned.

Was tonight muppet night or was it a national holiday in Germany? :sideways:

Language mr BB...This could give you an infraction...
Even though it's in "German".

If any Germans give you problems, just type this: "Immer gerade aus..."
It means: Keep moving straight forwards, has to with the WW2 and such.

No problem.
A few weeks ago I had to kick a German fella who kept swearing in German, did he sound surprised when I first replied in Dutch, then English then German. Think he got the point in the end and came back sauing sorry.

It's a shame you picked muppet night because we have been having some good games on Boomer.  We do seem to get quite a few German's joining that don't like/want to speak English.  I usually warn them a few times then kick then ban, it usually does the trick but it does spoil my enjoyment of the game when you spend more time warning/kicking than you do playing.

It's definately worth persevering with though as we've had quite a few good TCS players who have come to us through Boomer.

Atleast it's Friday so tonight: beer + GG's!
Unless you want me to use German tonight on the server ja??? :flirty:
Einen geht nog, einen geht nog rein...(part of a German drinking song about another beer goes in).

Must say that I do like the replies from people who get to know us through our publicserver and end up here. :D

I banned 4 myself. If they have been warned more than once I _never_ hesitate to ban them. If they are that ignorant when they obviously know English then I believe they deserve a ban.
