Title: Chinese corporations...
Post by: delanvital on February 08, 2007, 09:58:12 PM
I have nothing against China, for real :)

I used to work in the natural stone industry, so I get these mails once in a while. Basically spam from Chinese factories. They are not that good at coming up with company names in English. The last one, from yesterday is from a company called, lette-for-letter quote:

"THE FANNY stone corporation."

Another good one is

"The fabulous corporation, corp."

Oh yeah, I've actually seen that one.

Is 'chinglish and 'engrish' two ways to refer to the same or do they refer to diff. types of bad translations?

Whilst in China recently 2 clothes shops that caught my eye were "Hippo Fuk" and "****as". :lmfao:
The Mrs also couldn't understand why I was taking a picture of a sign advertising some traditional fuk dancing. :lmfao:
