Don't buy the CL4 memory - I did and I'm regretting it as it performs no better than the CL5 with a Core 2 Duo. Get the 5-5-5-15 by same manufacturer and save a lot of Euros. You can spend the saving on a second hard disk and make a RAID array which will VASTLY improve disk I/O

I would still recommend a 2 disk RAID 0 setup for speed. You are going to have a lot of very fast components waiting for data otherwise.

Hitachi deskstars are also called "deathstars".
When I put together my comp people said I shouldn't buy them.

I have couple of 7K250's in RAID and they've been running for... 4 years? But okay, I can be lucky.

Well, it was the hint that I got from 2 forums (1-Shuttleforum and the other was the forum from where I got my computer).
As KKND asked for suggestions, that's mine :flirty:
