I have sent out the mail described in [post=177324]this post[/post] to all alts tonight (81 in total, didn't actually take me more than 20 minutes :)), so I guess everything is ready to start the kicking.
If nobody has any special wishes to do it themselves, I can take care of the kicking of the alts tomorrow afternoon/evening. It shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes I assume.
One thing I would like to point out: when you start to invite people back in the guild, make sure you put the name of the main (exactly as it is spelled) in the 'note field' of the alt!
That way, we can at a later time easily sort the guild list after the 'note field', and thus see all persons' alts in an orderly fashion. This will for instance make it much easier when somebody quit the guild - we can than very fast find that person's alts and kick them at the same time. That way we won't end up with many 'dead' alts in the guild and have to do a process such as this one again :)
And I'll just repeat it once more, to make sure everyone got the important part:

I just had a quick chat with Gorion on the phone and he doesn't have internet at home atm, so if nobody else has any objections, I'll do the kicking of all the alts when I get back home from uw-rugby practice later tonight (probably somewhere in the hour before midnight). I will also try to make a list of all remaining main characters we have, so we can make a final revision of who should have access to the SOG private parts of the forum.
I also think we should get an announcement out fast in both the member's section and in the public section, clarifying our decision on alts in the guild (and also underline why Bastet, Tanales and TL will remain with alts in the guild), and also inform that we will allow previous members to return to the guild for a limited period of time. Here's a couple of suggestions:

All the alts have now been kicked from the guild, and I have also posted the two announcements in the post above.
I will later tonight or tomorrow make a list of all current characters in the guild (took screen shots right after all alts were removed), so we can also update the forum access. But it looks like somebody are still in the guild with more than one character, cause /guildinfo says 124 characters and 106 accounts. If you count all with Marshall rank (ergo the officer alts) that's 18 (included Gorion's guild bank char, which is FM rank), but in those are also a few of Bastet's, Tanales' and Ragnarh's characters, so there have to be somebody with two soldier ranks somewhere :g:
I should still have 4 or 5 in the guild :)
