Post by: Penfold on February 16, 2007, 10:48:32 PM
Putting spray into CS:S

So I have the spray from Whitey (thanks).

I've tried following the links above but I can't get it to work.

I've converted my spray to .tga format

I've downloaded the vtex thing

but then i struggle.

it keeps saying something like "problem figuring out outputdir ....

any ideas ?

Thanks

Why don't you just put the files I gave you, in the directory I told you (Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\your account  here\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\VGUI\logos)? :narnar:

They don't need to be converted or imported, the files are in the format they need to be in.

Why not use source it self??

You can upload an image ingame. Just go into your options...

That is the way i got mine.

HINT: Listen to Whitey...
The 1 he made just had to be put in the correct map and through Source I could select it.

Did you get it working allready then?
If you want to kown where you need to put it in the Sourcefolder, get your CS-Source started and then select import spray (this way you can see exactly the directory where you have to put that spray whitey made).

I've tested the spray I sent you and it's working fine.  You must have done something to it. Drop me a PM with your email address and I'll send it again with full instructions.
