i played one map, dod_forest i think it was called and it was pretty as hell...well as pretty as the half-life engine can get. there are some mortars you can use though they dont seem to do much. theres also the option to drop your main weapon and pick up another like in cs, and on some levels you can get rocket launchers :D

the best thing has to be the british forces though with great voice commands 'come on lads get a move on!'

has anyone else tried the latest dod version yet and what do you think?

dods great get the old massive machine gun layup some coverfire and bam your on 200 points allready :)

Quality mod.... its the only one I play other than Firearms, theres not much room for frag monkeys though ;)

Soon to be featured in Enemy Down too(theres some insider info for you :P ), would dMw be willing to give it a crack in a ladder? G'wan.. :)

I play DoD quite alot and have been playing it since its beta versions :)

This version is really good , except for them taking out blood loss [ get shot to much u can die of blood loss , or u can bandage it up ]
:(

The good thing about it is you really have to work as a team , and it makes sure of this as on the capture the flag maps you need two ppl to capture etc :)
Also DoD really gets the most out of the hl engine like jimmy said so the graphics and animations are alot better and look alot more real creating a really good atmosphere on alot of its maps :D
