I need to find a decent pet now that pets have been nerfed.  Any suggestions?

I like "non-flying" pet, even though I didn't play on it for that long.

So something that doesn't fly, also, "I" like things with scales, claws, 'big' teeth,'big' genraly, and something with a ranged attack.

so that's: A large non-flying beast, with claws, scales and will kill you from about one mile away.
And your mad if you argue with that!

( Yeah, that's kinda a Raptor, with a ranged attack. Guess i'll have to keep on dreaming...)

Broken tooth was awesome.  God, I wish he still had the 1.0 attack speed.

Im keeping my Broken Tooth - not that he is better than any other, i just find it to do good damage and it is good at keeping aggro.

Are all pets supposed to be equally good at keeping aggro now adays - if you look at DPS-pets that is?

Any further news on this now that TBC has settled in? I'm a little bored with my current two pets...

Melee classes still prefer non flying pet classes, cause they dont give as much fluttering on screen :narnar:

I see so it's not dps, sta or attack power that counts, it's the fps really ;)

Its really the annoying fluttering that ends up in the melee space that does it, its very annoying. Otherwise, knock yourselfs out, Wolfs pritty good.

Im gonna make it my personal mission to find the pet which is singularly most annoying for melee classes.  Something serpenty, big and bright blue oughta do it.

Need to get into Sethekk Halls soon :D

Nah, the fire dragon thingy from SMV is more annoying then a serpent. They're bright, they flutter and they break sheeps/traps with their fire breath. Any Hunter using them should be shot on sight with their own weapon  .

Read up on pet training and what to NOT train.  For some basic, but still worthy commentaries take a peak at BigRedKitty.com and in particular Claw v Bite.
