Title: Teamspeak for Matches
Post by: Whitey on March 13, 2007, 10:26:48 PM
Dead Men Talking on Teamspeak

Server: ts.storms-uk.com:8768

Password: deadtalk

CS Channel password is st4ndby

If you want to play Source matches please be on the teamspeak channel at least 15 minutes before the match start time.  You should only use the CS channel during matches, for practice sessions we usually use the bar.

Right, my only problem is, I don't know how to find the server.
Up there it says the server is: ts.storms-uk.com:8768

But does that have an Ip? I've changed setting to find you, and there's like 27556 server so...( There's around 98795 normaly, I think. 0.o )

I'm a bit lost.. can you guide me?

ts.storms-uk.com:8768 is the server address - you don't need the IP as well. Just enter that into the Server Address field in the Connect To Server window of TS.

Get someone on to try it.
BTW, make sure your TS isn't soundactivated but that you have to press a button.

Also, make sure you have TS activation button set on something else than the CS:S VC button, since using both at the same time produces an echo (or so I've been told).

I was thinking about that, I was like, 'put it on "V" wait no..'

I think I put it on ...Z or something.

Correct.
I have it on the same button but before matches I turn the ingame voice from Source off. You just have to remember it.

I suppose you could make a config with match settings in called match.cfg with different key settings in?

If I could do that then I allready knew how to add fastswitch to pistol on my mouse :crying: (and fastswitch for knife).

I use my mouse buttons programmed to the menu numbers (as in 1/2/3 on programable mouse buttons) and have the CSS option on that gives switches instantly (Fast Weapon Switch, advanced keyboard option).

But doesn't that have problems when your using a sniping weapon, Ie. scout?
