May I ask.

I tried two commands recently and neither worked.

one was ma_psay to reply to a player in private who thought someone was cheating.

another was ma_slap to warn someone for straying out of bounds - which looked asccidental - I thought a slay was too hard.

Neither worked - I thought they were mani-admin commands, am I wrong?

I just use the numbered mani admin commands....that's why I'm so slooow at slay/kick/bannage

I am really slow because of my z-board layout and the number buttons are really small and I need glasses

I have no idea what you're talking about (but then, that's nothing new :narnar:).

Seriously though, I think you're probably on a different system as you're a proper admin whilst most of us are junior admins.?

Perhaps the can't use those commands - it's no biggie but would be useful occasionally.

Anyone else shed some light on this?

admin menu, it uses a IG menu to allow for admining w/ number keys. Basicly it avoids you having to type your own commands, and slap there works for me.
 
you can bind it to a button by binding the command admin.

I take it you are typing those commands in the console?
If you are, they should work but there's less chance of slaying the wrong person with the menu :flirty:

By the way if you want to talk to a specific person, use normal chat and the following @@ [I]part_of_name[/I] The message goes hereSo as an example@@ Whitey Why are you picking on BB!Not wanting to confuse anyone and be careful using this, but Mani admins can slay/kick from the chat menu using the following @slay [I]part_of_name[/I]
@kick [I]part_of_name[/I] Notice that there is no space between the @ and the command.  You can also replace part_of_name with the SteamID.

I was doing if from the console? (where you hit the tab) not the text screen in-game.

I have tried and it doesn't work for me. I'll ask another mani to try it to see if they can.

It's not particular problem, but out of the commands, they're two which are quite useful.

all I did was bind a key to "admin"
so when I press p, I get a list of options
