Yeah especially that K!!"# guy. He wrote in German and both you and I told him a few times to stick to English. He didn't. After perhaps 3 warnings. Even on the comms he was speaking German. I emphasized on comms that English is a server rule, and that he HAD to speak English to play here. He THEN failed to get that "Jajaja... ich weiss etc" and I said something like "I am serious! you have to speak English here or be kicked!" I think he somewhat got the point after that. Sheeesh...

I was hoping to hop on right now, but the update off the firewall is wrecking my system, i cant stay connected to steam for any lenght of time and even MSN, remote admin, and some other minor stuff is messed up. Shrug, looks like i have something to do tomorrow.... :ranting2:

Don't worry about that, even a longtime CounterStrike player couldn't find his button for defusing. Because of that the last tournament ended in a draw. :lmfao:

There should be a nice piece of text in the Source section on how you can improve it. By using voice_loopback 1 you can hear how you sound ingame (by typing it in console). By typing voice_loopback 0 your sound turnms back to normal. Try in your options if your mic boost is on or not.
Also, Windows sometimes turns down your mic_volume in volume (taskbar usually on the bottom right of your screen).

if it got really bad I have never had a problem with giving everyone on server final warning about playing by the server rules or that the server will be shutdown and regulars can retire to a private server in peace. You could then type "rcon quit" in console.
However, now that we have the servers crash protected with batch files typing "rcon quit" just causes the server to shutdown and restart.

Yeah there was enough regulars I think (7-8 dmw's and a few other regulars?) to get a game going on MH...
I note the comments about the less desirables (not me I hope ) but.... boomer was full at one point and some people actually appreciate a server where the admins are pro -active some players were going to look up the web site etc... I think we should look to Maslow and his hierarchy of needs to understand why people behave so poorly, sorry I digress.....

True, it had its moments. But on one map, with loads of players, we tried A-rush tons of times and called for people to follow up and abt 50% went off in other directions. And when the bomb got killed - at one point me, on top of the bomb-site, almost managed to set the bomb - the Ts around me LEFT the site and went fragging. Grrr...
