Title: trying to get comp running for tonight

idiots guide please, got all the maps instaled
 
cl_restrict_server_commands 0
 
where to i put that as my cfg has text plus squares and stuff in it,
 
how do i get my power of the admin (all be it a little one back)

You can create a text file with notepad and call it autoexec.cfg (if you don't already have one).

Put the line in there.

The reason the file looks weird is because you open it with notepad. Try Wordpad...

I always use notepad and it's always fine with no squares:blink:

but as soon as you change something using the GUI instead of manually editing with notepad you will prob get all the nice little squares back :)
