Nefertem - when you're online give me a shout - it does not take long if you have a half decent group. We need a tank (you), main healer (could be any full healing class) and the rest is DPS.
TL.
Ye been there once, but for each try we came one boss further from the last :eyebrow:
But Ill fix my comp and come online to hijack you soon (I hope) :)
Quote from: spiritus;184465also at the black morass part.. allready starting to mislike that place.. give me a tank and some good dps i'll go and complete it.
I've helped people do it twice before, even though I still need the third key fragment myself (noone ever goes to Arcatraz it seems :sideways: ). The second time I did it was to test some tanking stuff at the second boss, because he gave me problems the first time; it was with a ... less then ideal PuG, but we still made it in one try.
Give me a poke when you're ready to do it Spiri, I'm sure it won't be a problem to get you through it :) . Hopefully I'll get my third key fragment before that time (although I doubt it  ).
If im available, ill be glad to help both in arca and in BM. Been a long time since i did something now :)
Ok, so I have been away for over a week and now I am back. So, I am always up for helping other guildies to get attuned etc, so just w me or PM me and I will see if I can lend a hand;)
But I am a busy lady, so I might not always available...
ive just dinged 70,
Im going to start trying to get attuned, I do need to get rep up with everything for heroic keys so any runs im up for (mage)
Run to Deadwind pass and get started then :D And gratz on the Ding! :yahoo:
Only posts about updates in your attunement status in the [post=178965]Where are you attuned[/post] thread please
Also, making a new thread will most likely make more people notice it, and it will be easier to set something up :flirty:
And gratz on 70 Sheepy :yahoo:
Edit: oh, and btw - I need BM myself as well :flirty:
Don't have too much time to play these days, but if I get a heads up a day in front or something I might be able to arrange for me to be online. I can both tank or do some cat DPS (and be backup healer).
o PS I also need a BM run so that I can do my Elixer mastery for Alchemy
It seems a lot of people need it (except for me that is :sideways: ). An Arcatraz run on Saterday or Sunday would be much appreciated (if only to the first boss, since I know some people don't like the instance :narnar: ).
Btw, I wouldn't advice tanking it Bob. Better let a good Prot Warrior do it; as a Druid I wouldn't advice doing it without having at least 30% dodge, 18k armor and 10k HP (unbuffed). You'll need the avoidance for the second boss, since he has a chance on hit to apply a -10% healing buff that stacks 9 or 10 times. If it doesn't drop off mid fight you will die and wipe the group (which means you'll have to restart the event). Also the last boss hits hard, I mean really hard.

Ok, nice to know Sandrion :thumbsup2:
I can easily do some DPS instead, don't mind that at all.
Even though I like tanking the most, some runs we did at the lan now during easter, showed me that me going mainly in cat form doing melee DPS perhaps is the way I can utilize my different skills the most - at least I think so, and here is why:
Firstly I do a pretty decent amount of damage (have out-DPSed both mages, hunters and locks - always fun, even though it's not the rule :narnar:), but secondly I never (or seldom) have aggro. While tanking in bear, I'm stuck in bear form - period. But while in cat form, I can easily switch to bear and start tanking if the tank goes down, or we have a bad pull, and I can also just as easily switch to caster and help out healing if the healer should get in any kind of trouble or need help due to stuff hitting the tank hard. Also the possibility to almost instantly being able to hand out innervate or rebirth is indeed nice - something which also is a bit more of a challenge if I'm tanking. So I'll gladly be a pussy as well :flirty:
Btw: it was BM you meant I shouldn't be tanking in, right? Or was it Arcatraz?
Its not that bad, i done it loads of times, +dodge use trinkets and paladin BOP help a lot (rogue can OT for a while under evasion)
Btw good rogues do about 25-50% more dmg then cat druid, they scale better.

I didn't say I have out-DPSed a rogue, now did I :flirty:
But you still can't heal (and
no, bandages doesn't count) :norty:
Well I know Spiritus is quite reluctant in returning to Arc.. I like the place though.. Only been to Botanica ones, and never to Mechanar, so as said before Id like to go there.. same with Shattered Halls :)
Once I get my computer up and running again Ill be up for runs to almost everywhere.. My lock is getting close to lvl 70 aswell, so if DPS is needed instead of tank, I can bring him soon..
Only bad thing is that I only got about 11k hp unbuffed on Nef atm, because I've been going for some Dogde (tihi @ Bob's maim), parry and block.. My defense skill is about 510 if I remember correctly..

In full dps gear you cant heal for squat either nubcake, if you can, you have poor dps gear :narnar:

Let's have a competition than - I in my best feral gear and you in your best healing gear - see who can pump out the most healing in, let's say, 30 seconds :boxing:
Good to hear that Nef. Lets do SH or one of the TK instances during the weekend :) . Hopefully we can get some people together.
And I agree with Bob that being in cat is the best way to utilize a feral Druid's potential (and it's also the most fun). You do pretty decent damage, but you can still shift out to battle res, innervate and (to some degree) emergency heal or tank. This is mainly because it's too risky (or is some situations even impossible) to shift out of bear for a BR or innervate while something is beating on you.
Edit: Just read you're post again, it's basicly what you said already :lmfao: .
And yes, I was talking about tanking BM.
@ Bastet:
Rouges do have higher white damage and have some talented special abilities that can boost their DPS, but it isn't that much higher. The scaling part is not true though; Druids scale equally well. The lack of increasing weapon damage is largely compensated by Feral AP (although not entirely) and Druids get twice as much AP per point of stength, which brings the two classes closer together. Also Shred even scales slightly better then any of the Rouges abilities. A Druid with just 2000 AP and 25% crit (which is every Druid with green/blue gear), will be able to sustain over 550 DPS in a fight with an unlimited time by just spamming Mangle, Shred and Rip (after taking mob armor (25%), dodge and miss into account, unmitigated it's about 850 DPS). Rouges will probably do a bit more, but I estimate it's more in the +10-15% region then +25-50%.
Of course, you shouldn't forget about the 5% crit aura with a bit of healing and the +30% bleed damage buff either :norty: .
But I have to say, so far, I've haven't done a single 5 man run in Cat form where I wasn't nr.1 damage. For me aggro is becoming a problem unfortunately, which kind of sucks because I don't have any space left in my bar for Cower  .
Yes in a 5 man its not that hard to keep up with rogues, but in a raid they seam to gain more from buffs, and since the tank is hit loads harder the agro roof is higher, and they can go all-out. Also, rogues still have more to bring then just dps, mainly stuns and interupts, which druids lack. On a normal run i would have no problem with druid dps, and have allready done runs with 4-5 druids. But on heroic, id rather have a rogue.
True, Rouges have stuns, interrupts, sap, vanish and stuff. But Cat Druids also have some utility besides DPS, like innervate, battle res, crit aura and so on; plus being able to switch roles between fights.
As for buffs, Rogues may have a slight advantage there, but nothing to dramatic; scaling buffs like BoK work better on Druids though.
A properly geared and buffed raid Druid can easily hit 3k+ AP and 30%+ crit, putting it's DPS close to a 1000 on mobs that aren't bleed immune (no I'm not joking).
I don't know how this matches up against Rogues. They're pretty complex and so far I've been unable to calculate it.
Personally I wouldn't put a Druid in a pure DPS role either, that would be a waste. In heroics the crowd control that a Rogue brings is more important.
Anyway, this isn't really the place to discuss this :narnar: .
Count me in too - I want the bow the boss drops!
