I think we should consider to set up another Boomer. We have had queue join Boomer the last week. What do you think? Same setup as Boomer

IMHO If we get enough regulars/dMw people on Boomer, we should move to Meathook and free up Boomer for the public/overflow.

Fair point but I am afraid that all admins will leave for MH and then Boomer is unattended. Maybe if we move over say 8-10 ppl to MH and some admins stay on Boomer to see if it picks up.

Sounds like a plan to me. We can always rotate who stays on Boomer as it's always more fun for the admins on Meathook as they can concentrate on playing and having some fun.
What we need to remember is to not make any rapid changes to a server's population. We all remember that when Boomer used to get busy and we went to MH then some moved over, some did not, and some non-dMw left altogether as over half the server's players just left.
Revamp the in-game messages on the server to include one that says when server gets busy then registered dMw players use a password protected server to enjoy their game, refer players to the forums etc to register. That way at least they get to know.
Alternatively we could introduce reserved slots for dMw members (say 70% of the total number of slots ) so that registered members do not have to queue as much.

We have some reserved slots just now (either 4 or 6) but these are only reserved for Mani admins. This does include all of Charlie but we have a lot of Bravo/other regulars at the moment and we wouldn't want to shut them out.
It would require a fair bit of maintenance to keep the reserve list up to date with the registered forum users (unless someone can automate it?).
I think the answer is probably a mixture of adding additional reserved slots and moving to Meathook when we have enough registered users on Boomer.

I'm not sure about this, on one hand it gets people on the forum quicker with access to all of the TCS information but I've found that letting people find their feet on Boomer and then sending them in-game messages to register (when they reach a certain standard) keeps Meathook as an oasis to fall back on for some relaxing fun.
I'd just like to add that this is a great problem to have! Thanks to all the admins for making Boomer the success it is :thumbsupsmileyanim:

:D Yeah good point..
A couple of times I've tried to join when it's been full. However I normally wait until map change and then leap in.
