Title: BF2 and Widescreen

Seeing as i have not played BF2 on this Monitor and my new laptop is widescreen how do i it to play at higher and widescreen res?
 
The viewsonic: 1680x1050
XPS Laptop: 1920x1200
 
If there has been a post about this before then my appologies, i tried the search tool and found nada.... that doesn't mean i am any good at using it btw :P

I seem to recall I had it running in widescreen (and by widescreen I mean sort of zoomed in with the top and bottom of the "normal" view cut off and with all the HUD stuff kind of stretched a bit) but I don't recall what I did to make it work...haven't played BF2 in so long that it's not actually installed on here anymore. Try on the widescreen gaming site?

It seems stupid of EA not to make a Widescreen option for this game.
Trying the shortcuts only seems to have stretched the picture still.... oh well nm.

Otherwise, Paddy from the RIPguys also has a widescreen laptop, you might want to ask him at the LAN.
