Title: dMw's DC team!
Post by: T e c h N i c a l on April 23, 2007, 08:09:16 PM
Righty doki. Well, firstly, I was wondering what would have to be done to get a DC team around? On ClanBase there are 3 leagues; 3v3, 2v2 and 1v1. I was wondering if we could get the clan into these league(s).

Secondly, here (http://dmwtechnical.4shared.com/) (Or, if that doesn't work, here (http://www.4shared.com/dir/2538038/7cad23d7/sharing.html)) is where I'm gonna upload any matches, public or not, that we have together :D. There's already one there, in which Eternal dropped out early ( because he was lagging... :eyebrow: ) and it was left to me & Jewelz to beat an enemy team of 3 :P (This was a public game, the first one us 3 (2) played.)

(( Click the link, and then click the Download button to the far right of 'dMw1 - Our first public battle!' =). Note: You must have DoW: DC installed with the latest patch to watch. Copy / paste it to your 'Dawn of War - Dark Crusade' >> 'Playback' folder, and watch the ingame replay. ))

May I point out that when ever you do stuff like this and are using the -=[dMw]=-tag that you keep a good friendly attitude all the time. Even if you're getting "hammerd".

I'll have a look at that when I get time.

I got disconnected somehow, that's why I couldn't join, and this computer at themoment can't run the game on high online due to our bad internet right now.
I set everything to low and it worked fine, maybe next time...

What do you mean by Vanilla?

I think we must update every patch.

Vanilla = Standard flavour.

In other words, unmodified, straight out of the box.

Although we do count officially released patching as vanilla as well.

No because you also have mods...
Vanilla is the game patched with only officialpatches given by the makers themself to solve problems which wern't detected through testing or to enhance gameplay.

Just because GMJR uses it alot, doesn't make it a general-use smiley.
I find it a tad irritating especially after a decend reply it looks like you're mocking the one who posted before you...

Just click on 'online' when you're in DC multi-player options, then it should automaticaly D/L the patches that you need (You should have to do this 3-4 times.), it'll say it needs to restart the game, and keep going on to the online option, until you've got all the patches.

bdw you add friends via clicking their name in game and press the add friend button

use ts perhaps? easyer to communicate, so we can switch to a low populated room in the dow lobby

Aye, we know that. We where just wondering if there was something like an '/addfriend' command or something ^^.

Also, it would be a good idea to use TS. In the past we've used Xfire, but TS is so much better quality >_<. Aand... I'm good for any time from now onwards.
