Post by: Anonymous on May 16, 2003, 03:34:22 PM
please can these maps be introduced to the hook, they are great maps for in between intensive PCS spells to unleash a bit of anger and sharpen the mouse skills and also be able to drink some piss$ and enjoy some banter.

Nope. I don't.

PCS is an oasis in a desert of Deathmatch servers. If I wanted to play a deathmatch game (irrespective of map) then there are thousands to choose from. To the best of my knowledge PCS has only two dedicated servers in the whole of the UK.

We could do a DM as a special map night. I don't fancy the idea or running a DM map on the servers as a regular thing, but one night would be OK. It might make a novel change for  us to play together on a non-PCS map just the one time, but not on a regular basis. So there you go.

I feel a sense of specialness coming upon me ... a sense of honour among men (SS that does not include you) and a sense of duty to not want DM victory......sigh sigh. CYA's on the hook this weekend.

Iv'e probably not been playing as long as most of you but the reason I joined =dMw= is the absolute release you get by having rules to play within and knowing that the Admin is there to apply them. So I'm with the majority that say stick to PCS if you want something else there is plenty out there.

Absolutely no, no, no, don't ruin the beacon of light in the sea of emptyness.   I've been playing with dMw since the very beginning of the meathook, mainly because of the easy kill...oops i mean the quality tectical play and great sportsmanship shown by people on the servers.

Dont agree with you there Mars - the reason we have dMw practices is to get used to match conditions.

Meathook should always be pure PCS
