If the bomb is down you are allowed to go beyond the no entry signs to cover it. You are not allowed to run around freely (the only reason to do that would be to fraghunt ... and you know about that). On a map like dust2 for example a CT should avoid to go from long A through T spawn to B to cover a downed bomb.
CTs objective is to cover the bombsites i.e. covering the bomb when it is down. This means that the CTs are allowed to take ground and new positions to cover the bomb if necessary and safe for the team. So what does "take ground" mean in distance? 5 m? 10 m? It of course depends on the circumstances. CTs c ould create a perimiter that facilitate covering the bomb. Sometimes it is to move 20 m to a bottle neck on other occations 5 meters.
You should also consider that the Ts could deliberately drop the bomb for you to move in. You could be set up for a trap. :devil: I would never do that however. :whistling2:

You haven't met Sadako the Swedish git yet I asume.:flirty:
a.k.a. The Nutty Professor
Clan Swede. Ph D student from Malmö with a tactical brain so complex that the UN once referred to his de_dust tactical analysis as more complicated than Iraq’s Weapons Disclosure report. Prefers 10 minutes per round as it allows a full description of his ‘rush’ tactics. Big movie and music nutter with over 750 titles to choose from – will buy the CDs and DVDs to go with the covers when he gets a job and earns some money. Permanently in a state of confusion due to being (a) Swedish, (b) living in Malmo and playing CS in Manchester and (c) growing up with Monty Python, Not nine o'clock News and Black Adder. Greatest Lifetime Achievement: Playing the role of the Chef in the Muppet Show. Favourite Weapon: Meat Cleaver or the unsilenced M4.

The man knows what he is talking about.
@Tonxik, have a look here: http://www.deadmen.co.uk/clan_roster.php
It says something about the Oldtimers of dMw...(including me)
Sadako knows what hes doing, but really, if anyone makes a call to go attack via a certain side, the whole team should follow, makes assaulting a hell of a lot more eazy.

Clan Netherlander and architecht, but we don't hold either against him. Sneaky player that uses unexpected camouflage techniques. You could be running on inferno and suddenly you will pass a can of beer. You are thinking 'hey a beer would be nice' and it is at that time you get shot from behind. In charge or organising the Clan's weekend trip to Amsterdam. Favourite weapon: foam and bottle cap
i didn't knew duvel drank beer, thoughed he was only on Grolsch :norty:

IIRC Duvel
is a beer brand. Grolsch as well. I could be wrong though.

Quit correct. Very nice beer I brought with me on a LAN. You should try it if you have the opportunity.
As in the piece of text about the Amsterdamthingy, I'm still on it...
NinjaFreak does fieldresearch for me...
