right, ive check the signup site and how it works abit.
tried to edit my chara but it doesnt allow lvl 70
is there a way to fix that? perhaps its in coding?
Yes there is, but tbh it doesn't really matter does it? Bastet has access tot he FTP for it so I am surte can edit it, otherwise I'd probably ask Tanales to go in and do ti as he was the one who set them up.
TL.
I got access yes, but also no bloody clue about what to do, access details are posted in the sticky, so if any1 of you have an idea, help yourselfs to it. Otherwise, ask Tan, hes kinda expert on that stuff. Anyhow, whats in the level anyway?
I could update the signupsystem if you want that done.
Tan.

ok got the package down and installing now, sorry about the delay...
Edit: Its installed and ready to use, i had to do a fresh install so you all need to go and register on the site so i can give you the right permissions.

Thanks alot Tanales :thumbsup2:
I'm registered there now at least.
Can anyone tell me how to assign privileges to those that have registered on the signup site? As of now, when I look at the Users page, many are listed with the default Assign (which should be changed to Member (or Admin)), but when I click at Assign, I only get to the Permission Sets page... Is there some place else to fix this?
You have to delete the user from the old group first, then they show up in the add to new group, MAKE SURE you are in the GROUP page, or you will delete thier accounts
if it sais Assign the user arent in any of the permissions groups, just click assign and then you get to the permission sets click the one you want the user to be in and find the user in the list that shows next and check the checkbox, hit confirm or whatever it was called.
Made it so you dont have to add new users to member permission group, they join it automaticly when they register, this can be changed in the configuration.

About that - now that I figured out how to (don't really know why I didn't find out on my own at first - it
really ain't that hard ), I see it's something that doesn't take too long to do.
Is it than a good thing to have people automatically joining the members group? Don't know if it'll pose a potential problem, or if it just saves us for some necessary work?
It is fast to move folks to the correct group - but than again, it would be equally fast to delete an account if somebody that shouldn't have access would join :g:
In a low security system like this, i would keep it as it is and remove ppl instead of adding, in the end it will probably save you some work.
And as an admin you should allways take the lazy way :D
Tan.
auto adding to normal members seems fine ;)
thanks tanales
