anybody knows whats happening?
if you mean the white background, then ur pc hasn't fully build ur screen up
it happens randomly even when ime mining etc, even if ive been on the same map for hours and it doesnt go away unless i alt f4
Have you done some hardware or game settings changes lately? I think I got gfx bugs similar to that on my old computer when I ran WoW with too high video settings :g:
ive got everything on full.. including aa and af @ 1028*764
i did update the drivers though :S
First try to reduce the quality of some of your settings. You might be lucky and it'll do with just a minor decrease on a couple of 'em - but I don't know which one is the most likely to give you a good result, so you just have to try a bit around.
If that doesn't work, a roll-back of the driver should do the trick it sounds like :)
If i recall your hardware specs correct gorion, you shouldnt have the slightest props running with everyting maxed out..
The gfx issue i see you got is most likely a graphics card memory heating propblem.. If the cards memory is to hot the textures can get corrupted and therefor not loaded properly, which might cause that prop..
whats your graphics card again so i can see if i recall it correct?
Bfg 8800 oc watercooled 786mb one
right its not the drivers, just got new ones and it happened again
this seems to happen much more if i alt tab out
I got some terain flashing and found a solution to be going to Video Options and deselecting Level of Detail which is ticked by default. This cured the problem, although it only arrived on my system since the 2,1 patch and a simultaneous upgrade to the latest nVidia drivers, so I'm not sure whcih is to blame!
TL.
mines unticked already.
having it on = reduction of polygons

That doesn't mean it's not the drivers... Might be that there is some "incomparability" or something with the new drivers as well. I would give the old drivers, those you had when things were normal, and see how it looks than.

with those i had the nv4_disp.dll problem
Have you overclocked your PC and are you on a 680i chipset mobo?
TL.
bfg 680i no overclocking present at all
How hot is the chipset? I had to put extra cooling on mine as the chipset runs a lot hotter than normal - this can reduce such errors. The other thing you can do is downlock the FSB a bit, this also helps. Other than that, a strongly worded admonishment to nVidia is sure to get you (and me) nowhere
