Post by: absolutehype on May 19, 2007, 01:52:36 PM
Hey Guys,

Came on CS this morning and i was astonished to be experiencing dramatic lag, my choke has been fluctuating between 10-190. I have attached a screenshot of my average choke rates, It has never been like this before with me.

We were all experiencing lots of choke and loss last night. The problem seems to be in the London area as the server and router are running fine.

I have tweaked Boomer and Meathook a little bit to see if I can reduce the network load and so reduce the amount of packets getting mangled in London.

Can peeps please monitor server choke/responsiveness over the next few days so I can undo the tweaks if needed.

FWIW friday night on the hook I had no problems - no choke - and I normally have 7-9 in choke on a regular basis.

Hmm seems to have been fixed now, Sadako and Whitey went through my rates. But to stop it happening again they suggested i hardcode it into my cfg. What exactly do i need to enter? :P
