I recieved a PM from a guy called Ghaleon. He said he had been talking to Elly about applying, and that he now (obviously, as the form isn't there yet :rolleyes:) couldn't find out how to apply.
I sent him an application form, same type as was sent to Valdeko.

Do you really sponsor this guy Elly? Never heard of him before... And as he keeps referring to you as "he", I would guess you don't know him too well either :narnar:
I attached the two points from [post=189067]this post[/post] (announcement draft) when I sent him the application form, so he should be well aware of what the sponsor part means...
He? That alone shows how much he played with elly :doh: Had him chat me up earlyer too, he seams to be one of them drugged up youngsters on a permanent suger rush, id advice against.
Afaik Elly never agreed to sponsor him, and hes one annoying piece of work. I had him ignored in under a min from his first whisper. :sideways:
According to Bob's statement regarding recruitment, we are only going to accept people that acually have a sponsor in the guild that knows them; unless there is a class need. I'm sorry for him, but he doesn't fall in either of those catagories. I have to agree with Bastet, decline.

Right, let me clear up some things.
First: I never agreed to sponsor him. Second: He's an annoying piece of work.
He just whispered me and asked if sog needeed rogues. I said its not the most needed class, but if he wanted, he was welcome to apply on the forums.
Then he said: When do I know when I get invited?
I said: We will contact you in due time. And he says: Ok.
And then I finally thought, well, now he's leaving me alone. But NOOOOOOO.
Then he says: You know me, we have been to an instance together. You know me.
And I thought long and hard, but I cannot remember him being in party with me before, but I dont remember everyone I team up with, sorry, my brain just dont work that way.
I told him that I dont remember that. Then he started /cry.
And then he is quiet for a while and I thought NOW he is leaving me alone, cos I have given the answers I could.
But stupid, gullable me was mistaken. I even changed character to one of my alts and he even manage to find me there (thank you very much TL :P)
He then says: Where do I post the apply? I say he has to send it in a PM to one of the officers. And then he says: I put you as sponsor. (I am like what??)
Let me add he was REALLY eager to join, he hate the guild his in (elite soldiers), and he hates the GM for being /quote an ass /unquote.
After a minute or so, he says: You dont remember me at all? I still say no, and then he says: Where are you? I am comming to you, so when you see me you will remember me. And then you will be my sponsor.
And I am like ***? Like I would remember a dorf rogue out of the blue? Bear in mind ALOT of characters look the same.
He invites me to a party and meet me. And how shocking! I dont remember him.
More /crying and then: Pleasssssssssssssss be my sponsor? I really want to join! Please??
And I am still rejecting, cos I cant vouch for a guy I dont know.
I say, post the application to me in a PM and I will show it to the other officers. I cannot promise you anything since you dont have a sponsor.
He says nothing for a while and then: I posted it to Bob.
And I thought, ok, then I dont have to care about it anymore. I said good luck and left the party. Then I get a whisper: I said to Bob to ask you how willing to join I am. I cba to say anything to him more.
Here is my impression: He is an annoying person, which nags alot, and I will NEVER EVER sponsor him!

I never sponsored the guy, and he was REALLY annoying... And if he really knew me? Then he'd know I am a GIRL and not a dude...
I would say: He fails to meet the requirements to join, not only doesnt he have a sponsor, he also claims to have a sponsor not willing to sponsor him.
Further more, its not a class need.
This is a LOL-and-declined-by-default-case.
I just moved the application back in here - don't see the point in having it the full four days out in the public section really.
I've also sent the guy this PM (which I pretty much stole from [thread=14726]this thread[/thread] in the old archives).
