im thinking to spend my talentpoints like this:

Now it works :)
Wether you wanna go healing or DPS is up to you I suppose.. But for a healing spec I think it looks ok.. The 5 points in Shield Speci seems a bit unnecessary, but ok if you want to use two-hand weapons I can see why..

seems allmost like my pally spec. and that shield spec make you able to take a bit more dmg.. i love it when the tank don't have agro on all mobs. even tough i had the highest death count last raid :g: healing/shield spec also work for me in arena :D

Then kick your tank in the nuts; if you go down everyone goes down :narnar: .

About the spec, it looks good. It's close to what I would have taken: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=GZE00bZEfLzAeotcd. I'd leave the 2hand weapon talent, when soloing you'll probably do more spell damage then melee damage with this spec anyway.

modified your healing tree a bit, last point could be assigned to either earth shield or natures swiftness

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/shaman/talents.html?0000000000000000000055000001000000000000055030051355303510320

explanations:

why did i remove:
imp. reincarnation - aint thats usefull for raids since youlle mostly have 1-2 locks and a couple of pallys with DI

natures guardian - in raids youlle die 90% of the time if you get aggro and that 10% means too little since mobs hit hard and fast

why i added:
totemic mastery - in some boss fights youlle be needing to spread out, this allows your totems to benefit the whole raid

focused mind - in instances/raids youlle be facing many silencing/fearing mobs and effects

improved chain heal - youlle be using this quite a lot, especially on casters since they shouldnt take big amounts of damage during trash etc

final point:

well depends on your style of play, natures swiftness could be real handy in a sticky situation were an important member of the group.raid is running very low on hp, on the other hand earth shield could be handy aswell

dont drop earth shield (its a great spell) and nature swiftness is just awsome in certain sitations.

Id recommend taking this spec if you are going healing. (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/shaman/talents.html?0000000000000000000050050001000000000000055035041355310510301)

I used to use one simular to this and it worked very well, although im now dps enhancement spec (yummy) :D

I agree, you definately want to have both Earth Shield and Nature's Swiftness. Nature's Swiftness can be a live saver and Earth Shield is just plain asome (it's a powerfull HoT that's procs when needed and it's also great for soloing and PvP).

Earth Shield, like a normal hot, improves with healing gear, making it a very strong spell to have.

Aye. My Shammy has about 1300 base +healing now, and Earth Shield is also affected by trinkets that are on *at the time it is cast*. I made a macro that uses each of my trinkets (each one gives a very brief boots of about 150-200 apiece to my +healing) then casts Earth Shield.
It procs non-crit for about 1k-1.5k now. Awesome to whack on your Main Tank.

Pretty nice, and the link works for me, although I don't really know too much about end-game.
