We have a discussion here at work. What would be the top 5 music albums you would bring to a deserted Island (which for some reason had electricity, cables, a nice hi-fi, a cool chair and loads of cold beer) ? I am still trying to figure mine out and is rather perplexed.
What would you chaps bring?
I'd bring something that wouldn't turn me insane, I like my half sanity.
maybe..
Jamie T (I can't even rememember the name of the album/record.);
The Fratellis- Costello Music;
Firestarter- Fat of the land;
Black Eyed Peas- Monkey Business;
Umm... There are lots more, but... Could I just bring a Dj? with a crowd attached?
Razorlight, The killers, Nirvana And some of the Clash, there' so many more!
"Pink Floyd - the Final Cut"
"Joni Mitchell - Hejira"
"P!nk - I'm Not Dead"
"Brahms Violin Concerto in D Major"
stuck on the 5th one :sideways:
Either "Thin Lizzy - Thunder & Lightning" or "Donald Fagen - The Nightfly"
My top 6 (can't do 5 srry)
- Bon Jovi - New Yersey
- Bon Jovi - Slippery when wet
- Disturbed - The Sickness
- Guns n' roses - Greatest Hits (this def would have been nr 6)
- Linkinpark - Meteora
- Meatloaf - Bat out of hell II (or if there will be one with I, II and III combined then that un :P)
(alphabetically not top)
it should be top 10 or top 25, i need more space :(
cuz i wouldn't want to miss:
Bon Jovi - Rest of them
Coldplay - X&Y
Disturbed - Believe & Ten Thousand Fists
Evanescence - All of them
Lordi - The monsterican Dream
Muse - Absolution & Blackholes and revalations
My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
Nickelback - All the wrong Reasons
Rammstein - All of em
Within Tempation - All of them
and those are only my "favorites" i don't want to miss, i got lots of others i wouldn't mind taking with me :P
Im so not good at these things.. I usually hear some music for a period gets tired of it and finds some new stuff.. And I would prefer if I could mix a cd of my own :g:
But I guess the list could look a bit like:
Tool - Aenima
The Killers - Sam's Town
Maria Mena - Apparently Unaffected
Sting - Brand New Day
James Taylor - Sweet Baby James
(listed as they came to my mind)
Some of these aren't entirely new and there's a long way from the James Taylor music to Tool music. I do listen to a lot of the new stuff they throw out on the market these days, but these are albums Im quite certain I won't get tired of, where as the most of the new music I listen to these days would get boring after a while.. These albums would also bring some variation into the music Id listen to, which would make it more bearable if Im stuck there for a while..
