I was looking into the same myself yesterday - I've got 350 in skill now, so the last patterns I learned from the trainer doesn't do it anymore.

I found this site to be quite good: http://www.blizzardguides.com/wow_leatherworking_guide.html
It gives you the cheapest way to get those remaining skill points.

But cheap isn't perhaps really the word, cause those last skill points are gonna cost quite much. I bought the patterns I had available with the Consortium and the Cenarion Expedition yesterday, so I guess it's only to start the grinding :sideways:

Have you gone into one of the specific proffesions inside LW yet ie Dragonscale Leather Worker? As uou will get more avilable to you when you do.

Correct me if I'm wrong here - but after skill level 300, I haven't seen any more patterns for the different specializations. You will pretty easy get to 350 from what the normal trainer can teach you, but the rest 25 up to 375 it's all vendor-bought or dropped recipies.

There are some like the Primal Strike (http://www.thottbot.com/?set=619) set, which requires elemental leatherworking. They can be learned at the specialization trainers if I'm correct.

When leveling my leatherworking I was lucky enough that the Primal Shadows were very cheap ( < 1g each) and I had the +NR armor kit pattern. After about 350 you're stuck with crafting Heavy Clefthoof stuff, which is pretty expensive to make. I'm currently at level 363; 2 more levels till I can make my Windslayer Wraps :yahoo: .
