whoo, sweet I'll take a shifty :)
But... but... Firefox?
Every single Mac user I know in person just uses Firefox *anyway*, and says Safari is crap.
Tested it a bit out now, i got to give em, damn that browser is fast :O
wroom wroom browser on dope...
but has a bit of issues showing certain stuff on certain pages.. but hey ho, only beta so far
beta browser and apparently it chews through memory (though that might be a vista-specific issue :D) and also apparently has enough security holes (beta as it is naturally)
but nice to have another mainstream option! :D Opera, Firefox, Iexplorer, Safari...

Well, for sure, it's not ported for the sake of profit. As one of the best network innovation companies around, it is surely done to be support somewhere, like the iTunes iPod combo which worked out rather perfectly...
Nice leader about Apple (http://www.economist.com/opinion/displayStory.cfm?Story_ID=9302662)
I think its also to do with there iPhone press release. You need to use safari to make applications for the iPhone (crap idea imo). Having a Safari browser on Windows PCs will help developers make these apps.
Yes i think you are right jamoe... and i recon it has something to do with, closing the cap between the two platforms...
