Title: New members and raid priority
Post by: Bob on July 02, 2007, 11:56:00 PM
Just a small reminder to Tenilia, before he approves sign-ups for tomorrow's raid:
Yrthal re-joined the guild today, with his druid Skinkie (resto). With him and everybody else that might join from now on, it goes from the raid rules that Initiates shouldn't get a spot in the raids unless there are absolutely nobody else that can fill that place.

Just a reminder, so we stick to the rules we've sat :)

Edit: also another thing, whilst I remember it. Seeing as you are the raid leader and have both your pala and rogue you raid with: as we have only one rogue (Ice), and often many healers, I think it would be nice if you some times could "rotate Ice out", instead of it almost always being another healer that has to pass on a raid. It's just a though - only if it is viable.

Yeah, I think it has happened that both a pally and a priest, and perhaps also the shaman, have had to passed.
It's not a big deal, but I guess it's would be nice to just have it in mind.
And Drazila will be pretty fast get better gear I guess as well :)

Bear in mind Bobbyus is now 70 and will be very quickly atutned I hope.  I know why you're saying it Bob, but I don't agree with it - if we need a decent Rogue in the raid then we need Ice.  Rotation might be good for the bosses we have on farm, but for the new fights we need the best squad we have and that means a decent rogue.

The only reason why I think Teni at some times should go with his rogue, is that as he is the raid leader, he will always be there and not be a part of any rotation - this making it only slightly unfair for the other healers.
But ofc. I don't think we should do this when we're working on new bosses - save it for the first night when we don't depend that much on a 100% optimal group.

tbh, teni is one of the best healers, (the dice is always going on between teni and marduk imo) so we need him on his pally mostly

Yes, I still agree with that - but when the chance is there, and I don't say it should be often, and we have at least two other good healers, it could be considered as long as it's a run where we don't need the best possible team :)
