Should be right.

you saw jesus!?!
seriously, i found it very strange how we think about him. its not very authentic. when you think about in which country and time jesus was born, he probably looked more like this fella:

... i guess.

PS: do you saw the two woman?

The person who did the colouring/shading in of that elephant wasn't very clever. He went way outside the lines.

as they say, its interesting how our eyes see something which doesnt exist. descartes was right: "cogito ergo sum" :)

here is another example for this:

the question is, how is the proportion between height and broadness in this tophat?

its also an optical illusion. as lumi say. when you look at the tophat, it seems that its more long than broad. but in fact, the broadness and the longitude is exactly the same.

My skin looked like it was moving slightly when I first looked, but stopped as soon as I had 1/4 of a second to focus. Is that whats supposed to happen?

its called the "waterfall effect". when you look at a waterfall for a few minutes and then at something else, the back of your hand for example, you see how it cranks and extends. it looks very strange. i guess its like taking psychoactive drugs.
well, try this picture here and look at it for one minute.
