yey! I finaly mannaged to log on to BF2142 and it work stable. I had to remove F@H (F@H) from start up folder.. it stopped my bf2142 to start if it had runned on my pc.. dunno why, but now it works.
and i managed to stumble upon DuVeL by accident :)

F@H (F@H) does the same thing with normal BF2. Just close it down when playing an EA-game...

I've added you to my friends list through BF2142 so you should have a friendsrequest. Through the friendssystem you can join a friend on a server.
Kakehund also plays alot of BF2142 (also a member of this forum) and you've played with him yesterday. We usually try and get in the same team to get a better teamscore and such and if one of us needs something you know you'll get decent backup.

Lol, well, my stats wern't that good when I first started aswell but then I got some help from people who also had VoiceComms (got a few tips from Kakehund also). For the rest, it helped also that I'm a BF2-veteran.
Here's a few more tips;
-When you shoot someone or someone gets shot near you, you can swap kits by standing over the dead body and pressing G. This way you can pick up their kits and you have more advanced weapons and such. It also helps out when the medic on your team gets shot so you can revive him (he'll have your kit then).
-Teamwork is an key-element in BF2142 and with this you can get alot of points. Reviving/Healing people. Resupplying, Repairing Vehicles and such will get you alot of points AND your helping your team out! Teamplay for the win!
-Your first unlocks should be from the kits you play most. I've selected my unlocks carefully as lateron in the game the ranks arn't coming in that fast.
I allways prefer Medic/Resupply and such. Also I've picked up Northern Strike so you can get several more unlocks (allthough it's a bit of bs that EA asks money for it).
For the rest I can give you some tips during online gameplay (I hope to get some gameplay tonight and Wednesday).

Also, make sure that you're in a team. That way you'll also get more teampoints (seems that you're a bit of a lonewolf).
I will, was just trying out some stuff (at 5-7in the morning) . and the game, just got it to work you know :)
And don't think i'll be playing today, my TV just broke. it make just one sound when i turn it on, tikk tikk tikk.. so gotta get a new cheap 32" LCD. might be fun trying to play BF2142 on that one :)

Heh, nice to know there're more getting into BF2142. I need help though :blink:. BF2142 didn't ever work particularly well on my comp, but then after a while, it stopped working; whenever I joined a server, the loading bar got halfway and then BF2142 came up 'Not responding'. Any ideas what may have caused this?
However, it's uninstalled atm, and I'll be re-installing it very soon. Also, upping my resolution on CSS upped the fps, so that might help on BF2142 too... :g:
