Did extremely well I must say. Stayed calmed and just worked through it.
The only point I'd make is that he went spec for most of the session.
I'd like to see more adminning "on the hoof" if you get my drift*.
Having said that, I think Lee did really well and deserves a good pass:D

It is not much fun adminning from spec all night, and I wouldn't expect anyone to do so (unless it was their choice)
I would like to see people adminning whilst still in game.(only going spec when they need a break, or the adminning warrants it)

btw, Oth had an ordeal by fire tonight, and handled it pretty well IMO
I find I admin by HLSW a lot. Why? because it removes the audio input and you can concentrate on the info available. I think the bottom line is we are all different anc cope with input indifferenet ways. i wouldn't be upset if a gu spent the whole night in spec mode to run a good server other than to ask what were the other admins doing to help him? and I say that in a non-controversial way - he should have kicked the git :)
Admin training is an artificial environment where the admin being trained is the only person on the server performing admin duties for an extended period of time.
If I'm the only admin on the server with a bunch of new guys, I tend to go spec myself as it's a lot easier to see what's going on and take action, which gives the people playing a better experience. As soon other admins join, I rejoin the game. From what I've seen of Lee during normal play, he does the same thing.
I've been really happy with the way the sessions have been going and from the feedback I've had from the public admins, they find the sessions beneficial. The last two nights have shown the benifit of BB's suggestion on Friday (Admins use TS/Vent) as we have had a number of admins joining the Ventrilo chat session set up for the training and it makes it a lot easier to co-ordinate what is going on :)
