Hektor,
I have removed this post because your comments can be seen as both offensive and inflammatory.
You are free to discuss the in's and out's of the Iraq war and whether it is justified or not - but your post turned personal and that's not on.
We are all well aware the Iraq War is a contentious subject and we have many members in the Military or who have served in the military. Therefore I have removed your post which attacks those people serving in the Military.
This decision is not personal (and certainly not anything else!) and you a free to discuss the morals of the war - so long as you keep it to a generic level.
Vitrolic attacks on other members cannot be tolerated for the good of the Community.
Please feel free to PM me if you'd like to.
Regards
PEN

Yes he has. And if you have a problem with that, take it up with the
politicians responsible.
Freestyler has served in Iraq as a member of the British Forces. He was sent there by his government.
Please feel free to whine to Tony Blair about it and if I ever see you getting that personal against another forum member again you will be perm banned. Understand?
You have the right to disagree with somebody - you do not have the right on this forum to abuse them. neither does anyone else!!!
Nice vid - I for one am very proud of the guys and girls who serve our country around the world, the do a superb job :worship:
A good friend of mine is currently serving in Afghanistan.

I agree, it takes a special certain type of person to do the things that these guys have to do. Aye, good to see you came out of it well. (I think I caught you on the vid, with the cheeky grin? )
What was life like in the army?
Hektor i see its clear you didnt agree with it and i understand you have different beleafes, but pls understand i went and served for my country (which i am proud of) cos i was called upon as my duty as a soldier of the British Army. Reguardless if i wanted to go or not it was my duty, please dont hold it against me or any other soldier, we do not decide whos goes or not, as Dogmeat stated its the politians decision.
And just to let you know Pres Bush is american not British.

Moral of the story: Hate the War, not the soldiers.
You might need them to put out the fires next time firefighters go on strike.:narnar:.

As a retired FF of 25 years experience, and a union official, I can tell you now that NO TROOPS will be used in future disputes.
Project Fireguard (http://www.mawwfire.gov.uk/documents/fire_authority/auth/2007/21_may/item09_eng.pdf) is an initiative by the Chief Officers Organisation (CACFO) to organise a replacement service, should there be any future industrial action.
they are looking at contracting FF's from overseas. (http://www.lep.co.uk/ViewArticle.aspx?sectionid=73&articleid=3105371)
no more Green godesses, No more squaddies putting themselves in harms way.
They call it resilience, I call it Privatised SCABBING:angry:
