Now that you mention it it has been a bit sluggish to respond sometimes. Not all the time (it has been good this session) but occasionally I fail to get a response from the server or get a slow response.

I had some major lag spikes when previewing/posting a post just now. But it only were there for a minute or two, and than it was gone (and I was surfing normally on other pages, so not my connection).

Keep an eye on this. It's across the entire network that we are connected to. I've reported the problem and I'm hopeful it'll be fixed very quickly. I'll chase them again this afternoon.

it seems to be intermittent, and it 'looks' like the firewall I have may be faulty as it's only affecting everything on my ip range.

I'm getting onto support again to try and get a new firewall asap.

It's a sugary syrup, like molasses.  Hypothetically it would be difficult to wade or swim through, hence the parallel with a web page loading slowly.

And yes, the forum is particularly bad this morning.  It is being looked into folks, keep the faith please!

Yep we're swapping the firewall out ASAP as we think it might be the new 'improved' one that is falling over for some wierd reason.  Go figure.
