Hi all,
Right i have just joined a ww2 reenactment society for ww2. This basically means i dress up as a us soldier from the 1940s era and go to reneactment events where battles and such like are shown to the public. I have joined mainly due to my love of this era and a desire to meet and talk to veterans who fought during this conflict. I have attached a recent photo shoot where my society helped EA to compare reality to their recent game Medal of Honor: Airborne

For those who may want to know more have a look at the society's website who have contributed to Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers and many other documentaries over the years //www.ww2lha.com
Enjoy :)
Have to admit there's some cool pics there. looks like a blast from the past.. :D
your my hero now, honestly thats bloody awsome. i wish we had something like that here... then i would do anything to become a part of it
The photography is stunning.....
PEN
Really cool stuff
I like it, I've thought of doing something like that round here too. Seems strange that a lot of jump jockeys aren't wearing M1C paratrooper helmet liners though, and did some people have canvas liner chinstraps.... oooh, the things you might pick people up on!! :D
the pictures are just awsome
Awesome stuff GM :thumbsup2:
Only lack of such societies in Denmark and my lazyness that keeps me out of such stuff.. love the idea :D
And Band of Brothers is one of my favourite series, Saving Private Ryan is high up on my movie list aswell :)
