OK, I need some help.
I have 2 PCs (one for work and the other my overclocked gaming rig) that I want to run on the same DVI monitor, using the same USB mouse and serial keyboard. Now I could use the USB:serial adaptor and connect the keyboards and mouse that way, but a normal KVM switch is still no good because of the DVI connections for the monitor. The problem is that the only DVI KVM switches I can find out there cost several hundred pounds (as opposed to about £50 for a normal KVM switch). Anyone know of any cheaper sources for what I am looking for?

Would it be ok for you to use one of these with a normal VGA KVM Switch?

The problem with the VGA convertors is the RGB bit of the signal is lost, so I lose the excellent screen image I get with DVI. On a CRT this matters not, but on a flat panel like mine it matters huge . I really need a DVI KVM for £50 but I can't find any...... :(

Well the one from Bonuscable.com (aka CableClub.com) arrived this morning and I have been waiting all day to get some time to get it connected up. So given the name of the suppliers, which item do you think was missing from the box? :x
What use is a bloody KVM switch with no extra bloody cables?
