Aye, I would love to see DA in a rematch against Sheepy :boxing:
And Pen, I guess that 5-0 lead should give you a *rough* idea hehe
:yahoo: The Doc is ready to slice and dice.
Sure:flirty:
I need to stretch myself, I recently upped my personal best to 36oz of ribeye.

I think Sheepy has a challenger for his lan record :P. Darkangel couldn't beat him tho :lmfao:
how much would 36oz be?

I had hoped this would make it clearer but...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ounce
what's that, 1020 grams or so?
Don't see there could be any reason whatsoever not to join in on this one :yahoo:
And for the ounces-thing: when it comes to all kinds of conversions, be it money, weight, distance, temperatore or whatever -> Google is definitely your friend (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=36+oz+in+gram&btnG=Google+Search) :flirty:
Making 36 ounces equals to 1,020.58283 grams

 of course... cheers!
1 kilo of meat, and then veggies and fries. That makes what, a 1250 gram meal? I have once in my life eaten a 1300 gram burger, but that took all evening... and I didn't feel that well... I remember DA and Sheepy going at the steakes like they've been starved for a week!
hmm, i can eat 500grams of pasta then sauce added.. no idea on a kilo of fillet tho

ahh.. That's a possible strategy..
A night of steak? Count me in!
oh yeah, ime in too
forgot to mention it in the previous posts, sorry
As I've only recently sorted myself out, is it still possible to join in on the steak fest?
:dribble:
No problem.
I've spoken with her and told her to expect 25 - 30 covers for people wanting steak and she's organising a variety of different cuts as before.

Join in Jamoe, we haven;t booked specific places, just warned them of the approximate numbers.
TL.
Oh I will :D
As you all know I'm a skinny rake so I doubt I will be much of a challenger for the eating comp. But the funs in taking part :norty:
im not planning on eating as much as last year, there wasnt enough room for much alcohol after that. if i can substitue some of the steak for a bottle of wine then ill still go for it!

But think about it... winning the comp earns you at least two free pints?
yeah ill still manage the pints
I understand your positition Sheepy. This year there is real competition. Best to make excuses now.
:boxing::boxing::boxing::boxing:SHEEPY, SHEEPY!!!!! :boxing::boxing::boxing::boxing:
I've seen Sheepy and I've seen Paddy.
My money's on Paddy :norty:
PEN
Bet ALL Paddy
:D
Hey NF, you ******, my bet is on Paddy. Want to bet for a pint?
BTW, any other competitors that want to try and take upon Sheepy & Paddy?
You're on Duvel
I'm in i want a 32 oz rump tho :D
Oh, rump is soooo uncouth... The same size in sirloin, please:D
But then I'd want it cooked in the manner of my choosing, seared then gently grilled for 30 mins, was very nice last time.
A little wholegrain mustard, if you would?
last time sirloin only went up to 24oz
I think the 20oz was the biggest sirloin on the menu, I believe the chef agreed on larger cuts to order :yahoo:
I'm not sure how official steak night is now at the OC. I think they're just getting them in for us.
Therefore the choice may not be quite as comprehensive as last time.
just a heads-up before the lynch mobs start:rolleyes:
PEN
Garrrrrrr! Oi gets moi fark an flamin' tarch then!
aslong as its a very soft piece of meat, with a bit of blood in it... ;)
