Title: Co-Op Buying
Post by: Penfold on September 12, 2007, 02:54:09 PM
I'm putting together a list of people who are interested in buying external storage etc.

I can buy them at trade prices (between 30 - 50%) discount but need to place an order of £500.

initially I was looking at Freecom as their products do well imho.

Things like a usb-powered 250gb tough drive are about £90

and their 1TB datatank is £194.

If anyone is interested in any of their stuff please let me know and I'll buy it en masse.

Sorry Pen, just got two 500gb SATA-II's in USB2 enclosures for £57 each delivered.

Actually worked out cheaper than buying the drives that were inside on their own.

Expired offer now though.

(Ooh, 3 posts away from the big 1000)

2 of these (http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/128465)  from eBuyer which contain these (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/search/?qfind=WD5000AAKS&x=692&y=140).

Posted on here (http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95358), I always keep an RSS feed visible from there.

500gb drives appear on there every now and again, but these were just too hot to miss. It only lasted a day.

They find all the bargains, like this one (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deal/46928/toilet-seat-sim-card-3-46-delivered/) thats not to be missed.
