Why do you want to join SOG? Six months ago I quit WOW because the guild I was in for over a year disbanded and most of my friend left the game. From the moment I quit two of my colleagues (Crystaline and Risingstar) tried to convince me to migrate to “their†server because they had sort of a static party and where lacking a tank.
Yesterday I decided to give it a try and after a night of tanking instances, I don’t expect to freeze my account again any time soon.
I would like to join your guild to get to know more people the server and group up for instances and PVP.
Anything else? As I understood from Crystaline, SoG also raids 2 times a week.
At this moment I have no intention of joining those raids yet, but I think this will change in the future. Off course if you need an extra hand then I have no problems with helping out on occasion.
My raiding history on Argent dawn (Restoration Spec):
MC, Onyxia, ZG, BWL - cleared

Did Durnholde, BM en SV on friday with this guy. He did a good job at tanking those instances. Given a few secs of aggro time and i couldnt pull anything away from him. Understands his class so it seems :rolleyes:. WTB invite plz.
I sure hope that this guy will get his chance in SoG, we kinda need decent players. I know this guy IRL and he is a very decent guy in which I have confidence.
I do like to make one last remark, last member I got to apply, Cannonball, was leaving as abrupt as he got invited. From all I know now ppl think he was epic looter deluxe and left us just after he got his epic. What ppl dont know is that this was certainly not the case and that he left because he was taking offense to some crappy excuse he was told by one of our officers that he wasnt good enough to come to next raid and had to pass. Mind you he was allready queued and approved as MT. I understand the rules, initiate comes after member or GM even, but giving a lame excuse like 'we got a better tank comming in, your gear isnt as good as...' just aint cut it. He took offense and left SoG, I want to state that I would probably had done the same under that particular circumstance (yeah I am hotheaded as well, you all know, soz). My point being, pls treat new members with respect and ALWAYS tell the truth, dont think ppl are stupid or something for they get fed up with it really quickly.
For the record, Cannonball is an IRL friend, and I deeply regret the fact he left SoG because of this situation for he is surely the best tank I have ever seen in WoW (no offense to G.)

That's great and I am sure the application will be reviewed with these comments in mind.

What TL said, if you have a problem, feel free to take it up directly with a officer, there here to help you know, tossing it arround on the forums generaly dont helps.

he donst thin he will b raiding for a month or so but after that his studys are done.
he didnt seem to bad about the idea of respeccing resto either, especially when i told him we DE a lot of leather healing gear
