Title: No excuses now, are there?
Post by: Liberator on September 21, 2007, 07:39:09 PM
Come on you lot (UK only, sorry) now there is no excuse to not revel in the glory of the BF2142 server which is sat here on your own doorstep.

BF2142, for under £8 and a trip to your local Argos. (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5682612.htm?storeId=10001)

Come on, lets see some lame excuses for not buying it now! :rtfm:

Out of stock for home delivery and for store pickup.

Anyway. My local store only charges £4.99 for this game when they're out of stock.

Soz for being off-topic a bit: That is what I've heard from friends. Is it really that buggy? And punkbuster can't keep up with cheating kids? If so, then I really can't be bothered

Well, Friday-evening there were problems with the EA-masterserver.
For the rest, on all kinds of games people can cheat, it's not only BF2142.

Punkbuster and EA are messing up a bit but only that you have to manually check for upgrades of PB as EA didn't set it up properly when you start BF2142.
I've played several rounds yesterday and had a blast, I reckon it's worth the money.
Just find the correct servers which are well-adminned...
