Title: Quake Wars: Enemy Territory
Post by: Dewey on September 28, 2007, 02:09:12 PM
Well I've been playing the demo for a few weeks and I like it - myself and some of the BIG guys will bring it to the LAN so people can check it out if they want.

One of the features I like is that unlike BF2 where its a bit random ie your fighting for flags which means forces can get split up a lot - in QW:ET you are given objectives as a side, you complete that object and then you are all given the next objective - what that does is ensure large fire fights centered around a fluid battlefront. It reminds me of the bf2 mod dMw used to play where you had to capture flags in order - which means even if there aren't lots of people playing the action is still focused around an area - though you can still complete other missions to get xp.

LOL, looks like we're going to be busy this LAN. Loads of new games out.
Pfff, think I'm going to make a list of which demo's still to play and which games to buy...
